DALLAS, Apr 8, 2010 / FW/ — Because jewelry are usually small, packaging and displaying them are a challenge for both the designers and the visual merchandisers. And though the use of plastic is not groundbreaking, it should be noted that it is still a good choice, all things considered.

Known for its inventive and creative fashion accessories that are sold all over the world, Tarina Tarantino had chosen polystyrene boxes to package some of Tarina Tarantino’s decorative jewelry and hair accessories.

The crystal clear plastic boxes, manufactured by Alpha Rho protect the jewelry within while allowing the consumer to easily view the products inside. Measuring 3 inches x 3 inches x 1 5/7 inches, the boxes are specific size requirements by Tarina Tarantino.

And how does this translate to visual merchandising?

It will not do much for store windows since it will be too small, and as for vitrines, you will have to take the jewelry out anyway to display them.

But this is important when actually displaying the jewelry on the merchandise counter. It makes it easier to stack the merchandise while still showing what is inside.
