MILAN, Apr 7, 2010 / FW/ — Participating in the upcoming 49th Salone del Mobile International Furniture Show, Moschino is presenting the project “BITS & PIECES”, which is composed of window displays that consist of a tent, a folding chair and a lamp made in patchwork and crochet, all inspired by nomads and eccentric grandmothers.

The vibrant and colorful objects are made from recycled material found in old storage rooms and constructed with detailed craftsmanship: an inheritance of our eccentric grandmothers. The tent is entirely made of patchwork fabric; the lantern-lamp is made up of crochet and the folding chair is made of both textiles.

These handmade objects are one-of-a-kind pieces that will be sold upon request at the Moschino boutique on Via Sant’Andrea.

And they will be seen at the store windows of the Moschino Boutique at Via Sant’Andrea 12 in Milan.
