LONDON, Aug 23, 2010 / — The V Festival is an annual music festival held in the United Kingdom during the penultimate weekend in August.
M.A.C Cosmetics and the M.A.C Pro Team decamped to the renowned V Festival to keep a host of top celebrities, performers and guests looking refreshed from dusk until dawn…AND, this year festival goers were able to make like a VIP and experience M.A.C in all its glory for the first time ever front of house at V!
The M.A.C Pro Team were on hand to provide the ultimate festival makeup facilities for guests in the coveted Virgin Media Louder Lounge area. TV Presenters Caroline Flack, Zoe Salmon and Gail Porter, singers Alexandra Burke, Keisha Buchanan and Beverly Knight, actresses Joanna Froggatt, Olivia Hallinan and Karen Gillan (Dr Who), model Cara Delivigne and Coleen Rooney all visited the M-A-C tent in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge over the weekend for a festival makeup fix. M.A.C also provided product to Hollywood star Drew Barrymore and T4 presenter Jameela Jamil by request.
M.A.C Artists also had their brushes at the ready backstage in the festival Artists Village where they were geared up to provide makeup and grooming services to key talent performing over the weekend. M-A-C Pro artists created dazzling ‘on-stage’ looks for Florence Welch (Florence and the Machine), Kate Nash, Pixie Lott, Daisy Dares You, Robyn, Rox, Francesca (Tricky) and Becky Jones (Groove Armada) and provided product for Paloma Faith, La Roux, Sugababes Sister Bliss (Faithless) and Diana Vickers.
Virgin Media Louder Lounge VIP guests were also in for a treat this year! Guests who were lucky enough to bag a makeup application at the M.A.C tent within the lounge could choose from four bespoke looks created using M.A.C Pro products – which were exclusive to the Virgin Media Louder Lounge.
The V Festival took place from 21 – 22 August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex.
