NEW YORK, Aug 24, 2010 / FW/ — Taiwanese-born designer Malan Breton who is known for his clean and classic silhouettes will be presenting his Spring 2011 collection on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Metropolitan Pavilion during New York Fashion Week.

This show will mark Malan Breton Collection and Malan Breton Homme eighth New York showing, which will be presented with a live 65 piece orchestra, the Chelsea Symphony and an infusion of the dance world’s finest, Brittany Franklin and Chase Finlay.

Inspired by the now classic movies of “technicolour” genre, the Malan Breton Spring / Summer 2011 collection is based on the concept of American sportswear meets Paris Couture.

The colour palette is a sensuous palette of soft colours with infusions of daffodil, aqua, deep cyan, silver, blueberry, azure, brick and signature Breton bleu, Colours that radiate like films of old !

In all natural fabrics like chiffon, silk organdy, gazaar, beaded crepe de chines, organza, cotton piques, voiles, and gabardines and Malan Breton’s signature silk chinoise.
