BANGKOK, Aug 19, 2010 / — The Department of Export Promotion of Thailand in association with Zenith Enterprise Co., Ltd, recently announced the closing for entry submission of the ZEQUENZ Design Contest “360° Creative Life” with overwhelming participation of designers and individuals from the Asia Pacific region.
Over 800 entries were submitted from Thailand and Asia-Pacific countries. The entries which comply to the regulations of the contest will be posted on www.zequenz.com/360creativelife for worldwide voting from 1 to 30 September 2010.
Sinee Damrongkitkarn, Managing Director of Zenith Enterprise Co., Ltd., revealed that “It turns out that designers and individuals from around the world are overwhelmingly interested in ZEQUENZ Design Contest “360° Creative Life”.
Statistics of ZEQUENZ website shows a record of over 10,000 visitors from 40 countries around the world. Students, designers and interested individuals from Thailand and Asia-Pacific countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Australia have submitted over 800 entries to our design contest”
“Most of the submitted designs have uniquely new ideas and inspirations under the concept “360° Creative Life”. The contest itself succeeded at being an international stage for designers to express their creativity to the fullest level. We will post all entries complying with regulations of the contest on ZEQUENZ website: www.zequenz.com/360creativelife for people inside and outside Thailand to vote their favorite design from 1 to 30 September 2010.
Four prizes will be given to the contest winners. The winner of the Grand Prize will receive cash of US$2,500, while two runners-up will receive cash of US$1,000, along with Certificate of Honor for both. The Popular Vote winner will get cash of US$500.
The winner, Runners-up and Popular Vote will receive one set of ZEQUENZ journal (Special Edition) plus one year membership from I-DESIGN magazines and one year member card from Asia Book store.
In addition, 10 lucky Voters who vote for the Grand Prize winner will receive one Set of ZEQUENZ journal (special edition) and six months membership from I-DESIGN magazines.
“At the end of the popular vote period, ZEQUENZ Design Contest project committee will announce 30 short-listed entries which receive highest votes on the website on October 11, 2010. The selected entries will also be displayed for final judging by the contest Judging Committee at ZEQUENZ booth in the Bangkok International Gift Fair & Bangkok International Houseware Fair 2010 (BIG & BIH Fair 2010) to be held at BITEC Bang Na during 19 – 24 October 2010. The winners will be announced with award presentation on 25 November 2010.” said Sinee.
