NEW YORK, Nov 5, 2010 / FW/ — Marvin Watch C° 1850 and Sebastien Loeb, seven time World Rally Champion have partnered to launch the limited edition Sebastien Loeb Watch Collection designed exclusively by Loeb.
Paying homage to Loeb’s seven world championship titles, Marvin’s Sebastien Loeb pieces are available in a limited edition collection of 777 pieces which are offered in both automatic and quartz movements.
The automatic rewinding chronograph features a Valjoux 7750 movement which is revealed with Marvin’s signature skeleton case back. The quartz version offers an ETA movement whose chronograph boasts 1/10 of a second accuracy. Both versions feature Sebastien Loeb’s signature and the inscription “World Rally Champion”.
Designed with a 44mm stainless steel case, the Loeb collection offers distinctive features for men who drive (and appreciate) fast cars.
In a nod to the dynamic suspension systems in rally cars, the Loeb watch features flexible horns mounted on spring suspensions, enabling the watch to adjust to the contours of the wrist and achieve maximum comfort.
Loeb made the face of the watch reflect the dashboard of his rally car by incorporating the following details: chronograph push buttons coated in black PVD paint, resembling gear change paddles; multi-level dial composed of riveted plates; and openwork hands that evoke a rally car’s reinforcing bars.
