Jeroen Van Tuyl Men Fall 2011

PARIS, Jan 24, 2011 / FW/ — Entitled “Broken Glass”, Jeroen Van Tuyl collaborated with fellow Dutch designer Kiki Van Eijk for the exclusive “Broken Glass” design on jacquard.

Basing the collection on the concept of a broken mirror, Jeroen Van Tuyl cut the coats with an irregular closure in the front and the rain coat was proposed with a diamond-shaped flap.

Leather was treated to look like broken glass while knitted sweaters were given asymmetrical collars to emphasize the “sharp edge”.

The concept is simple yet very eye-catching. Everything revolved around a broken glass including the jewels that were in shiny silver that were cut like broken mirrors.
