NEW YORK, Mar 2, 2011/ FW/ — Douglas Hannant has a one track mind about women – he wants to make them beautiful and glamorous all the time. And for Fall 2011, he continues that quest as he dresses them in Art Deco inspired silhouettes.

With a front row seats that looks like the New York social register, Douglas Hannant sent out a collection that is just the epitome of chicness. Pencil skirts and wide leg trousers paired with virginal white blouses spoke of innocence and sophistication at the same time.

Coat dresses trimmed with fur, slinky strapless gowns in jacquard, and golden cocktail dresses with spaghetti straps – Douglas Hannant did not miss a beat as he dressed the ladies from sunrise to sundown.

But, he was not done yet until the finale, an all black strapless gown with an A-line floor length skirt adorned with triangles! For that alone, the trip to the Plaza was well worth braving the cold.
