PARIS, Mar 5, 2011 /FW/— Native American inspiration and southwestern influences were the main attraction at Isabel Marant this season. Fringe galore, on boots, jeans, jackets, even mini suede dresses. The prints were like those of the Navajos, geometric and speaking to the free spirit of the Marant woman.

Her signature boot this season was redefined and taken up over the knee with fringe running along the side. Shown in black, grey, and white, they were the perfect compliment to the skinny jeans and ultra high hemlines.

Chunky sweaters worn with nothing underneath, denim jackets and vests were worn extra large and often finished with a shearling lapel. The curly fur coats were totally seventies, as were the anorak ponchos and free flowing vibe of each look.

The modern influences in this collection were seen in a perfectly tailored grey coat and waxed denim.

With an A-List model cast to boot, Marant definitely locked in her position for a must-have collection for Fall Winter 2011.
