NEW YORK, Mar 31, 2011:  Sharp, Simple, and Styled – J.Crew Fall 2011 collection takes inspiration from classic silhouettes, tailored lines, and slim cuts.  Using historical photographs by Lewis Line, Frank Muytjens – Head of Men’s Design and his team fused traditional elements of menswear with work wear structure.  Incorporated in suiting, separates, and jackets – the combination of tweeds, twills, and usage of navy in variations give the collection a touch of masculinity and sophistication.

The styling and story mixes chino and denim, layered quilted jackets, to narrow lapels and shawl collars.  Personal favorites include:  pant cuffs rolled up slightly, scarfs wrapped and tied around, neatly tucked ascots, printed sweater and ribbed cardigan.  This season brings smart, preppy, and cool effortlessly.
