LOS ANGELES, Mar 9, 2011/ — Italian designer Renato Balestra is making his U.S. debut on April 14th to benefit the City of Hope, a leading research, treatment and education center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases located in Duarte, California.

The runway show will be held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles during the “Una Notte di Speranza,” (A Night of Hope) event. Simply entitled “L’Alta Moda Glamour di Renato Balestra”, the designer’s latest collection will be presented to American fashionistas for the first time.

Balestra has designed more than 30 collections that include ready-to-wear and haute couture anthology, a complete line of men’s wear and a wide range of accessories.

He has designed for some of the most famous women in the world, including Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Collins, Lauren Hutton, the First Lady of Egypt and the Empress of Iran.
