PARIS, Mar 23, 2011/ FW/ — With so many names on calendar and off, it is hard to follow all the designers. Still, there are standouts and among the debutantes this season, Gianfranco Scotti designing under the label Scotti caught the eyes of many fashion editors and retail buyers.
Unveiling his first-ever collection under his own name, Gianfranco Scotti’s 25-year experience in the fashion industry showed.
Infusing haute couture techniques into ready-to-wear, Scotti created timeless silhouettes that are desirable and covetable.
And though this is his debut collection, a signature look has already emerged. Gianfranco Scotti showed a propensity for pleats that gave the silhouettes volume and structure while keeping everything light.
