NEW YORK, Sep 2, 2011/ FW/ — For Fashion’s Night Out (FNO), Tiffany & Co. will transform into a 70s Glam discotheque to celebrate the launch of the ERA collection. Actress/singer Leighton Meester of Gossip Girl fame will make a special appearance and perform alongside her band Check in the Dark.
An all-day event is planned on September 8th which kicks off at 11:00 AM when a street team of sixteen models dressed in a classic Tiffany & Co. look will hand out 3,000 Tiffany Blue cookies decorated with QR codes.
The scanned code will reveal an invitation to attend the Fashion’s Night Out celebration at the New York Tiffany flagship that evening with a special performance by Leighton Meester and Check in the Dark
The street team models will be in Times Square, the NYU area, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park South
At 6:00 PM, Tiffany & Co. will welcome guests in the store. Special window installations will feature live models painted in gold showcasing the ERA collection. Glamorous 70s inspired models will be staged throughout the store
DJ Kiss will spin a custom playlist inspired by the 1970’s glam rock era. Temptu professional airbrush artists will be on the third floor applying custom glittery gold temporary tattoo designs
A photo booth will be on the Main Floor for guests to have their picture taken as colorful Andy Warhol-inspired pop art. Sweet treats will be offered both outside and inside the store
At 8:00 PM, actress/singer Leighton Meester will make a special appearance and perform alongside her band Check in the Dark
