hm at coachellaNEW YORK, Apr 3, 2013/ — Yes, it’s that time of year… the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. And for the fifth consecutive year, H&M will remain an official sponsor of the festival. Additionally, for the second year in a row, the trendy retailer is expanding its presence beyond the polo fields to bring guests a one of a kind experience at a late night dance party.

On Saturday, April 12, 2014, H&M will host an exclusive night time event complete with a performance by headliner, Major Lazer, and DJ sets by Jesse Marco, and other surprise performances.

This year, H&M will take Saturday night festival goers to a private, never before used venue, where guests will dance the night away. Located in close proximity from the festival grounds, the H&M Loves Music event will feature a performance by headliner Major Lazer, and DJ sets by Jesse Marco, and other surprise performances. Celebrities, lasers, smoke machines, LED lights, food, music, and fun will add to the ambiance in which guests will be able to dance their way into the early morning.

As an official sponsor of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival for the fifth year in a row, H&M will have a tent activation on the fairground as an oasis for festival guests to get out of the sun and enjoy a more luxurious and unique experience.

Most anticipated this year will be H&M’s Traveling Showroom hosting H&M Loves Music’s “Runway Remix”, where visitors will be able to walk to the beat, coast to coast. Participants will have the opportunity to walk the H&M Virtual Runway, complete with a style consultation and glam station.

After the festival, the filming will continue with additional stops planned across the country. Captured video will be compiled by renowned director Nate Brown, to create a video of the world’s longest runway show ever. In addition to H&M’s traveling Showroom, the H&M tent will include DJ performances, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, charging stations, a water bar, freshen up stations, photobooth, and lounge area.
