NEW YORK, May 6, 2014/ — Last night, at the 2014 Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Calvin Klein Collection proves to be a perennial favorite on the red carpet with A-listers make their appearance wearing their favorite fashion label.

For the evening, Calvin Klein Collection wardrobed Anne Hathaway & Adam Shulman, Christy Turlington Burns & Ed Burns, Future, Bryan Cranston, Paul Rudd, Matt Bomer, Seth Meyers, Camilla Nickerson and Hanneli Mustaparta.

Anne Hathaway wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection geranium silk crepe two-piece with Bougainvillea satin lining;

Christy Turlington Burns wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection midnight embellished silk gauze gown; and

Hanneli. Mustaparta wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection viridian silk bustier with onyx silk velvet pencil skirt.

For the evening, each of the women’s looks was designed by Francisco Costa, the brands’ Women’s Creative Director, and each of the men’s looks was designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director, who were both in attendance at the event.

The museum’s annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrates the opening of the year’s exhibition, and is the main source of funding for the museum.

This year’s exhibit, Charles James: Beyond Fashion (May 8 – August 10, 2014), examines the career of the legendary twentieth-century Anglo-American couturier Charles James, exploring his design process and focusing on his use of sculptural, scientific and mathematical approaches to construct revolutionary ball gowns and innovative tailoring that continue to influence designers today.
