Jean-Paul Lespagnard by Philippe Jarrigeon PARIS, May 27, 2014/ — After studying visual arts and fashion design in Liege, Jean-Paul Lespagnard worked for Anna Sui and Annemie Verbeke.

In 2008, he won two awards at the International Fashion Festival in Hyères (France), which led to the creation of a capsule collection for the French brand 1.2.3.

He presented his first women’s ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week in March 2011. In 2014, he presented his ‘Till the drop’ exhibition at La Galerie des Galeries in Paris. Jean-Paul Lespagnard is also nominated for the International Woolmark Prize 2014/15.

Jean-Paul Lespagnard is competing for the ANDAM Fashion Award with a purse of €250K (US$342K). The winner will be elected by the 25-member judges panel on July 3rd 2014.
