calvin klein jeans my theresa (7)NEW YORK and LONDON, Jul 14, 2014/ — In a unique collaboration, Calvin Klein Jeans and will launch of a special edition, women’s capsule – “Calvin Klein Jeans x The Re-Issue Project” – which will be sold exclusively on beginning Wednesday, July 16th.

The “Calvin Klein Jeans x The Re-Issue Project” features modernized, limited edition versions of nine of the legendary brand’s most iconic pieces.

Designed by Calvin Klein Jeans’ Global Creative Director, Kevin Carrigan, the archival styles have been updated with today’s advanced fabrications and technology, and will be offered in multiple colors.

Justin O’Shea, Buying Director,, said, “For me there is one brand which epitomizes clean American sportswear and denim – Calvin Klein Jeans. We at have seen a huge resurgence in fashion towards the aesthetic which Calvin Klein Jeans pioneered, which led to us collaborating with the brand.”

“This Calvin Klein Jeans capsule is all about a nostalgia for the 90s and that whole look feeling very right again,” said Mr. Carrigan. “It now feels like the perfect time to re-issue the brand’s iconic hits to a new generation.”

To support the exclusive capsule and capture its retrospective, yet modern feel, Lottie Moss – model and sister of longtime Calvin Klein muse Kate Moss – was photographed by Michael Avedon, wearing key pieces from the line.

Enhancing the full-circle nature of the project, Mr. Avedon is the grandson of renowned photographer Richard Avedon, who shot the groundbreaking 1981 Calvin Klein Jeans campaign featuring Brooke Shields uttering the famous tagline, “You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.”

On shooting the portraits, Mr. Avedon said, “Lottie truly represents the essence of the Calvin Klein girl. Intriguing innocence with utter beauty – it was wonderful to photograph this beautiful young lady!”

In celebration of the special collaboration, Calvin Klein Jeans and will host an invitation-only event on Thursday, July 17th in London, England.

Included in “Calvin Klein Jeans x The Re-Issue Project” are versions of the original high-waisted skinny jeans popularized by Ms. Shields in the 80s and the classic, boyfriend tapered jeans worn by Ms. Moss in the 90s, as well as the brand’s popular “cK” sweatshirts and t shirts.

Essential Calvin Klein Jeans denim jackets and shirts in washes ranging from pale ice to stone grey complete the timeless offering. Retail prices for the capsule will range from $105 to $415.
