BERLIN, Jul 31, 2014/ — Now on its 9th season, Arne Eberle press+sales presented COLLECT Showroom for Contemporary Fashion during the recently concluded Berlin Fashion Week.
From July 8 – 10, 2014, COLLECT showcased a multifaceted selection of the most exciting up-and-coming German designers, as a part of the DISSONANCE AREA at PREMIUM EXHIBITIONS. The showroom assembled promising talent alongside established labels, presenting their Spring/Summer 2015 collections.
COLLECT Showroom stands for an eclectic mix of tradition, current trend, and creativity of the highest level and gives an international audience the opportunity to be inspired by and discover top tier talent and creativity.
For the Spring 2015 season and its ninth edition, COLLECT presented: Bergnerschmidt , Bluet Denim , Concis , Ethel Vaughn , Frisur , FuntimeHänska , Ina Seifart , Isabell de Hillerin , Marina Hoermanseder , Milk, Sissi Goetze , Starstyling , Tata Christiane , Tiedeken , Trinitas , Vaporetta , Velt
This season, COLLECT collaborated with internationally renowned pop-collage artist Yoh Nagao for the showroom’s graphic design.
Born in Japan, Yoh Nagao’s works seek to uncover the ailments of modern society. Culled fragments of fashion magazines create the foundation of his work, demonstrating a beautiful contrast between motif and material. His unique style with its psychedelic pop colours creates art works, which despite its critical nature, transport positive energy and raise a smile.
