NEW YORK, July 1, 2014/ —Last week, H & M, Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M),celebrated the opening of Jeff Koons: A Retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City. The evening was hosted by Jeff Koons where Alek Wek, China Chow, Stephanie Seymour, Leandra Medine and Cindy Sherman attended the event.
In celebration of the opening of the new flagship store on 5th Avenue, H&M is the fashion retail sponsor of the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Jeff Koons: A Retrospective. This month on July 17th, the Swedish retailer will unveil its newest flagship and its first ever artist collaboration with the notable and influential Jeff Koons, whereas a limited edition Jeff koons for H&M leather handbag will be available for purchase at select H&M city stores.
Jeff Koons: A Retrospective opened June 27th and will be running through October 19, 2014 at the Whitney Museum of American Art, located at 945 Madison Avenue at 75th street in Manhattan. The exhibit will travel to Centre Pompidou, Musee national d’art moderne (November 26, 2014- April 27, 2015) followed by the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao (June 5, 2015 – September 27, 2015).
