NEW YORK, February 12, 2015/ FW/ — Entitled ‘Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2015″, Timo, Alan, and Donna took inspiration for their Fall-Winter 2015 from the early work of photographer, Saul Leiter; specifically the artist’s photographs of a 1940’s-1950’s New York City, cinematized by snow or rain, and translated them across a collection of the designer’s core styles: coats, dresses, skirts, blouses, and sweaters.
The Timo Weiland girl has taken her essentials, and elevated the aesthetic with sophisticated silhouettes that maintain the brands feminine, signature edge. She exudes modern femininity, and a nonchalant attitude that is uniquely American. Looks were accessorized with bold, knit hats and sunglasses designed by Cutler & Gross. All elements were crafted together created a series of looks to illustrate the Timo Weiland girl, and the many places she will go in the fall and winter seasons of 2015.
