Enrico Coveri Fall 2009
Enrico Coveri Fall 2009

MILAN, Feb 27, 2009 / FW/ — 1950s-inspired silhouettes in pink and emerald green; fur collars and cuffs, lace skirts, pleated bodices on off-the-shoulder cocktail dress, it’s not Marilyn Monroe but the allure of the legendary screen siren has been translated into the modern woman of the 21st century.

Staying away from his signature flirty, Enrico Coveri practiced restraint to create A-line coats with thin belts, pink dress suits and high-waist pink trousers. Even the geometric print in yellow, blue and turquoise also has pink in the mix.

The Enrico Coveri woman remain as glam as ever but she is also a working girl now, sporting dress suits and manly suits.
