DALLAS, Nov 18, 2009 / FW/ — I’m not going to write a review of “A New Moon” nor tell you what happened at the premiere, or even talk about the romantic involvements of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner; I’m just going to tell you what they wore.
Taylor Lautner, who had to buff up for his role as Jacob Black in New Moon arrived at last Monday’s premiere at the Mann’s Bruin Theater wearing a blue Calvin Klein Collection suit and skinny tie designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director.
Heartthrob Robert Pattinson was wearing in an all-black Gucci suit, while his on-screen love interest Kristen Stewart was wardrobed by Oscar De La Renta.
Now, the interesting part is that for the after party at the Zinc, Kristen changed into something more comfortable, a pair of Genetic Denim’s The Shane with Studs.
Back at the Mann’s Bruin Theater, Jennie Garth was spotted in a pair of Sam Edelman “York” heels. She attended the premiere to support her husband Peter Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen in the hit film.
Dakota Fanning looked stunning in her little black dress, a Valentino lace frock that she accessorized with Loree Rodkin jewelry.
Charlie Bewley arrived at the red carpet wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier coated cotton suit.
Meanwhile in New York, Penelope Cruz was wardrobed by Calvin Klein Collection during the special screening of her latest movie, “Broken Embraces”. Ms. Cruz wore an all-white ensemble designed by Francisco Costa the brands’ Women’s Creative Director.
Additionally, Ms. Cruz was also wardrobed in a Calvin Klein Collection black silk/wool blazer on Sunday evening’s screening of “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” hosted by The Cinema Society and A Diamond is Forever in New York City.
