The collection plays on the contrasts between age-old cultures and new textile techniques in handmade couture: the early 20th century body decoration of the Ona tribe from Patagonia, the cosmic harmony of the colours used by Jamaica’s Rastafarians, the powerful chromatic universe of Brazil and the Maasai ornamentation found in Kenya and Tanzania are interwoven to form a new luxury armour.
