Patrick Dempsey Unscripted, the actor’s signature men’s fragrance was unveiled today at an exclusive cocktail party hosted by Avon Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Andrea Jung at The Skyloft Penthouse in Tribeca.
With the tagline ‘Follow Your Passion,’ Patrick Dempsey Unscripted will launch in November 2008 and globally in 2009. Developed by International Flavors and Fragrances, Unscripted is a Woody Green scent that expresses the freedom of the open road with fresh, aromatic cardamom and invigorating cracked black peppercorn.
At the heart, a sensual mix of fig and crisp lavender enrich the experience with a warm, sophisticated texture. The drydown reveals an unusual twist — a bold blend of exclusive leatherwood and patchouli heart wrapped in earthy vetiver and rich musk for an authentic, adventurous finish. Patrick Dempsey Unscripted is housed in a simple yet iconic bottle.
The outer packaging contains sharp, classic lines that are both modern and masculine. The unique colors of the carton, a rich textured gradient with orange accents, convey Patrick’s overall vision — original and unexpected.

The fragrance tagline, “Follow Your Passion,” captures the true essence of Patrick and his belief that each individual should develop and write their own script for life. Patrick Dempsey Unscripted will launch in November of 2008 in the U.S., with a global launch following in 2009.
Patrick Dempsey Unscripted will be featured in the company’s brochure, which is distributed to over 5 million representatives around the globe, and will be supported by print advertising. The fragrance will be available for $32.00 in the U.S. beginning in November 2008.
