MILAN, Sep 25, 2008 / FW/ — Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Sergio Rossi unveiled its Spring / Summer 2009 collection in its new headquarters at Via Pontaccio 13 here in Milan.
In a collection entitled Graphic Heritage, Eduardo Castillo, Creative Director of Sergio Rossi used graphics with intense colors creating a unique essence. Every detail is enhanced by the palette of colors, as seen in the soft leather piping.
The ankle is adorned by big straps that transformed into colored bracelets to dress the foot, echoing the ellipses created by the soft leather piping.
And, as a special treat to all Sergio Rossi fans who are also sportive, the Italian maison collaborated with Puma to create a capsule collection for Spring / Summer 2009.
Named Bouganville, the two styles – ‘Mary Jane’ and Lace Up are both given high heels and done with rubber sole to give that legendary Puma comfort. And, we thought that a pair of comfortable high-heeled shoes is urban legend.
