The Children's Place

DALLAS, Jun 5, 2009 / FW/ — Beginning Jun 4, 2009, Texans have had six new locations to shop for kids with the opening of six The Children’s Place stores around the state – Harker Heights, Harlinger, Abilene, Burleson, Fort Worth and Rockwall.

To celebrate all grand openings, THE CHILDREN’S PLACE has partnered with the Books For Kids Foundation, to help promote literacy among all children with a special emphasis on low-income and at-risk preschool-aged children.

Customers that donate to the Books For Kids Foundation, at the register, will receive 15% off their next purchase at all new-store locations. In addition, the first 200 people at each new location will receive a FREE children’s book.

To meet the needs of parents and children alike, THE CHILDREN’S PLACE continues to grow and expand as a leader in the children’s fashion category, opening retail locations across the country, as well as expand in the online arena.

THE CHILDREN’S PLACE has specifically sought out new territory in unsaturated markets, giving parents everyone the opportunity to take advantage of the accessible prices and effortless wardrobes available exclusively at THE CHILDREN’S PLACE.

With over 900 stores throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, THE CHILDREN’S PLACE is the authority on children’s fashion. With on-trend styles, in quality materials, all at an unmatched value, THE CHILDREN’S PLACE is your destination for up to the minute fashions at affordable prices. To help parents navigate each collection and make the shopping experience enjoyable for kids and easy for parents, THE CHILDREN’S PLACE showcases head-to-toe looks that can be worn in a variety of ways. This allows children to create countless coordinating outfits in the season’s must-have styles, while helping parents stay within budget. THE CHILDREN’S PLACE also uses the same color palette throughout the entire collection, so layering and mixing and matching is fun and foolproof.

The new store is modeled in THE CHILDREN’S PLACE “Techno Color” design, offering a spacious, bright and airy shopping environment that provides a friendly and convenient atmosphere for both children and adults. From the moment families set foot inside, they’re greeted with a burst of color. The comfortable surroundings feature color-coded “rooms” designed to make shopping a fun and unique experience for each gender and age group. The easy flow of the store layout is enhanced with wide aisles, allowing for better maneuverability with strollers and carriages.
