An Evening at Giuseppe Zanotti, Madison Ave

Giuseppe Zanotti Fall 2009

Giuseppe Zanotti Fall 2009

NEW YORK, Aug 19, 2009 / FW/ — Towering exquisite lambskin zipper booties, architectural blocked platforms, gladiator flat sandals…what a fine New York City! Shoes are the IT factor and Madison Ave is as better place than any to snatch ur next hottest shoe for the season…at Giuseppe Zanotti Designs that is.

Stylist to the stars, Jamee Gidwitz hosted an early evening shopping event aimed at servicing a Giuseppe woman and admirers alike. “The Giuseppe woman shops at Giuseppe because she wants to stand out from the crowd, and the new F/W collection is rife with unique options that work for everyone-something for your more conservative days (beige leaf-like stitched sandal) and plenty that work for your more outrageous moods….

I love the crystal and black suede open-toe bootie: very motorcycle-diva-meets- Elvira,” exclaims Jamee.

Crisp champagne, Magnolia’s Bakery bite size cup cakes and shoes, shoes, shoes to die for. The Recession… soon to be a thing of the past. Indulging in each and every pair, customers delightfully asked the salesman for her heart’s desire.

“Can I try that python platform in a 38…thank you.” As boxes and clients were scattered alike, registers ringing, and incessant banter ensued there was a joy was in the air of the boutique. Women just love shoes…and handbags too.

There were stylists requesting boots fall 09/10 for Alicia Keys, and making notes for their next pull. Pre-shopping is key and with the 15-30% off …for one night only on current season and pre fall 2009/2010 was just a bonus. The PR director was smiling as the reception to the line was clear…clients fawning over every pair.

My picks for the night were the cobalt blue peep toe sling back with multi colored Swaroski crytal platform and 5″ heel, twin saddle sling bag with heavy for the night black upper and with gold hardware and the ski high rectangle contrast platform sandal. I just adore Giuseppe shoes! – They’re so of the now!
