PARIS, Oct 7, 2009 / FW/ — If you’re thinking of great looking spring coats to protect yourself from the rain, then, look no further. Hannah MacGibbon at Chloé just proposed a traveling cloak, a quilted jacket and a tunic for Spring 2010 that are must-have.

Chloe Spring 2010

One thing about spring and summer collections is that we always think of the sun; we seldom think of the rain. Well, Hannah MacGibbon did and her bucolic take on outdoorsy clothes will be the rage in New England.

With the coats defining the collection, the other pieces fell beautifully into place, with one half of them being weekend clothes with the hope that it will be worn in the country; while the other half is corporate, with the assumption that it will be worn in the city.

Boyfriend jackets and jodhpurs, handkerchief skirts paired with boyfriend shirts, layered floor-length frocks in accordion pleats, the Chloe woman leads two lives – a life in the city during the work week, the other in the country, during weekends.

Now, how cool is that?
