PARIS, Oct 8, 2009 / FW/ — Inspired by the 1953 movie Les Vacances de M. Hulot (Mr. Hulot’s Holiday) starring Jacques Tati, Béatrice Ferrant and Mario Lefranc, gave new attitudes, functions and logic to conventional clothing elements and in the process gave them new aesthetics.

Lefranc.Ferrant Spring 2010

Taking Mr. Hulot’s mackintosh, Béatrice Ferrant and Mario Lefranc transformed this universal rain garment into a sophisticated dress. The same concept of insufflating a new utility was done to the generous overcoats, omnipresent dresses, short jackets, almost gored skirts and “Zouaves” trousers.
