In 2007 he is awarded with the Barcelona Bread & Butter prize for the best collection of his own graduation class; he takes part in Murcia’s Open Catwalk and is again awarded with several prizes at Madrid’s Young Creators Contest; at the Festival Noovo of Santiago de Compostela and is singled out to take part in the Projecte Bressol, a fashion project launched by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Autonomous Government of Catalonia).
His first collection, ‘Viudas’ (Widows) is shown in parade at the Barcelona 080 Catwalk on September 2008. He has been showing in 080 Barcelona eversince.
For Fall 2010, Manuel Bolano wrote a short poem to describe it:
I remember a little bear.
A little teddy bear in camel colour.
A cold, gray winter morning in a trip to the “Castros Gallegos”.
My mother, dressed in wool and silk in pink, was holding my hand, and I wondered…
Why does everything has to be pink?
