Nina-Ricci-pwaw-2010

PARIS, March 7, 2010/ FW/ — For the House of Nina Ricci, romanticism and nature are integral parts of its DNA. In fact, the apple, symbolizing the forbidden fruit of Eden is the maison’s calling card.

For Fall 2010, Nina Ricci focused on earth shades and flowers, creating 3-D representation of fall blooms. Refined feminine silhouettes were cut long, elongating the torso while extremely thin waist was highlighted by thin belts.
Noteworthy are the large knit sweaters trimmed with fur and tops with openwork embroidery and the must-have accessory are the leather opera gloves.
