MILAN, Apr 26, 2010 / FW/ — Loved by the international cinema and artists like Madonna and Lady Gaga, Francesco Scognamiglio takes on a new journey with the signing of his first licensing agreement with Lerre SRL for shoes.
An agreement spanning five years between Scognamiglio and Lerre SRL, the first shoe collection will be unveiled during the Spring / Summer 2011 fashion season wherein 25 models will be presented. Initial distribution will be handled by Massimo Bonini show room in via Montenapoleone in Milan, which has been point of reference for the national and international market for 20 years.
After its debut in Milan, the Francesco Scognamiglio by Lerre shoe collection will also be shown in national and international trade shows. The shoes will be available in selected stores and boutiques worldwide.
Founded in 1939, Lerre SRL has already collaborated with Francesco Scognamiglio during the Fall 2010 / Winter 2010 fashion season. The original ankle boots, a full-blown sculpture made of black python with a fish-like heel and a metallic sole paved with Swarovski crystals in a perfect contemporary vein was seen on the runway.
The model underlined Francesco Scognamiglio’s high energy prêt-a-porter collections season after season.
Lerre Srl produces hand crafted shoes, the 80% of the collections is hand made in Naples area. The design of the company, using color and decoration, together with precious aesthetic quality that never slips into excess, goes perfectly with the sophisticated and ethereal vision of the Francesco Scognamiglio woman.
