DALLAS, Jul 2, 2010 / FW/ — Opening in the U.S. last Wednesday, Jun 30th, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” became a bona fide box office hit on its first day with gross ticket sales US$68.5 million.
And while fans were lining up on our side of the Atlantic to see the movie, the stars of the show were at London’s Odeon Leicester Square for its U.K. premiere.
Calvin Klein model Kellan Lutz who also plays Emmet Cullen in the movie was wardrobed by Calvin Klein for his appearance at Leicester Square. Mr. Lutz wore a heightened blue wool suit with a black cotton shirt and tie, all from the Spring 2010 Calvin Klein Collection, designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director.
Additionally, Mr. Lutz, who is currently featured in the men’s Calvin Klein X Underwear global advertising campaign, showed reporters that he was wearing Calvin Klein X Underwear last week on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
Meanwhile in Astana, Kazakhstan, Academy Award winning Actress Hilary Swank wore Georges Hobeika Couture to the Opening Ceremony of the 1st Astana International Action Film Festival on July 1st.
Ms. Swank graced the red carpet in a long black gown featuring a unique, asymmetrical neckline and Swarovski embellishment from Georges Hobeika’s Spring-Summer 2010 Couture Collection.
She attended the festival along with Mickey Rourke, Sharlto Copley, and Mike Tyson to view the screenings.
