NEW YORK, Sep 9, 2010 / FW/ — Signing their third collection for Bensoni, Parson graduates Sonia Yoon and Benjamin Channing Clyburn investigated the “paradoxical youth issued by the marriage of Bourgeois Bohemian (BoBos) to Cybergoth.”
Definitely a view of fashion by their generation, these two young designers are bringing to the mainstream the underground fashion that we are used to seeing on our peripheral vision.
While long fluid and “finished” silhouettes courtesy of the use organza dominate the collection, a certain rawness is added via the use of denim.
