Faconnable

PARIS, Aug 29, 2011/ — Following the 2010 international success in New York, Madrid and Lisbon, Façonnable is pleased to announce that the next 2011 Shirt Bar event will be held in Beirut, Lebanon, on September 22nd and 23rd.

Organized in partnership with top class retailer Aïshti, the event wants to highlight the shirt, Façonnables’s most iconic and characterizing product, in a setting that recreates the buzzing atmosphere of a French brasserie bar in true Cote d’Azur style.

The happening, where clothes and bottles share floor space, will also channel the brand’s lifestyle appeal, anchored on the successful and exclusive range of special shirts that will be showcased inside the high-end and contemporary setting of Aïshti.

True aficionados, in fact, will be able to indulge with one of the 100 limited edition shirts fashioned in the colors of Lebanon that feature an exclusive Façonnable for Aïshti blue label with the shirt’s number.

Mirroring the theme of the soirée, Façonnable has created a menu that “serves” various shirt styles with names evoking inviting cocktails such as “The Allure”, “Scottish Delight” and “After Skiing”. The selection of shirt fabrics spans from tartans to printed motifs to three color combinations representing the Lebanese, French and Italian flags. A French “Plate” of assorted buttons and ties complements the menu list.

A specially designed “shirt bar” invitation will be mailed to a select guest list including VIPs, customers and celebrities. All the staff greeting the guests will be donning Façonnable clothes while the waiters will wear the Façonnable World Cup striped shirts in the Lebanese, French and Italian colors.

True to its spirit and traditional social involvement, Façonnable has joined forces with Aïshti during this event to support the Heartbeat Foundation. A percentage of the event’s sales will benefit this charity organization.
