DALLAS, Apr 3, 2012/ — Viktor&Rolf’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection continues to define their approach to provocative couture. Inspired by the vision of a modern Victorian woman, the silhouettes are classical with a twist of modernity.
This Viktor&Rolf women’s silhouette is primarily elongated in both form-fitting and fluid constructions with emphasis on cinched-waists. With a nod to the classical hourglass, the house introduces Viktor&Rolf Soir – a capsule of elegant, floor-length eveningwear. Design details remain loyal to period details with fresh takes on fur, lace and fringe embellishments.
The capsule is comprised of 5 styles inclusive of:
The Mary Dress: an elegant floor-length dress in rich silk satin with draped sleeves and inserted hip bow detail. Offered in a variety of colour-ways: black, blush pink, burnt orange and deep emerald.
The Victoria Dress: Truly romantic and Victorian, a floor-length volants dress with an embellished crystal bow at neckline. Offered in dove grey, warm burgundy and black.
