NEW YORK, Jun 10, 2012/ — Men maybe from Mars and women can be from Venus, but together, they can own the red carpet!
Isabelle Stevenson Awardee Bernadette Peters looked regal (as she should be) in a purple Donna Karan gown. Peters was recognized tonight for her work at “Broadway Barks.”
The Isabelle Stevenson Award is a special Tony Award given to “an individual from the theatre community who has made a substantial contribution of volunteered time and effort on behalf of one or more humanitarian, social service or charitable organizations.
Meanwhile, the men were not slackers – Neil Patrick Harris, Nick Jonas and Steve Kazee wowed everyone with their Calvin Klein Collection suits.
Mr. Harris, who hosted the awards ceremony, wore charcoal chinz flannel wool one-button peak lapel tuxedo, white dress shirt and black tie from the Spring 2012 Calvin Klein Collection;
Mr. Jonas, who was a presenter for the evening, wore a navy wool one-button peak lapel tuxedo, white dress shirt, black bow tie and black leather shoes from the Spring 2012 Calvin Klein Collection; and
Mr. Kazee, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his role in Once, wore a black wool two-button peak lapel tuxedo, white wingtip tuxedo shirt, black bow tie and black leather shoes from the Spring 2012 Calvin Klein Collection.
Each of the men’s looks was designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director.
