NEW YORK, Sep 12, 2012/ — “Tranquility and the serene sense of calmness influence my designs this season,” Qing Qing Wu (Richard Wu) wrote in his press notes.
Inspired by the changing sky, Richard Wu drew on the subtleties of color transformation as the sky changes throughout the day, and thus came up with refreshing color palette of blues, purples and greens, even sorbet shade of salmon.
Known for his tailored yet modern silhouettes, Richard Wu is considered as Asia’s foremost menswear designer and for Spring 2012, he lived up to all expectations.
