Formerly known as Nicole Hanley, Hanley took inspiration from the Prado museum in Madrid — In specific sixteenth and seventeenth century paintings. Which completely makes sense since the opening of her presentation included models beautifully confined within a ginormous gold frame, bravo!
Spanish influences were seen throughout her collection, with a section of silhouettes at the presentation resembling a feminine take on a Spanish Matadors uniform. Spanish influences set aside, Hanley’s true inspiration lies within the quality of the works of art to create a collection equally rich in color texture and tone. Fabrics seen throughout the collection were velvet, lace and tweed with standout golden looks stealing the show.
