That Anna Wintour is still one of the most influential figures in the fashion world is a given. And that Vogue’s history has shaped decades of trends and designers is pure fact. Fashion is changing and Vogue is doing something special to celebrate it.

“A fashion show and street fair that captures the creative spirit of our community” – Anna Wintour.

To celebrate its 130th anniversary, Vogue will present a live editorial fashion show, street fair, and other events during New York Fashion Week next month, Sept. 12.

“New York is the perfect place for this: a city as restless, dynamic, and vital as today’s fashion” – Anna Wintour

This will be a one-of-a-kind event, with a runway show featuring the most iconic looks from the FW22 collections, with garments from Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci, Valentino, Burberry, Coach, Michael Kors, Brother Vellies, Bode, Conner Ives, Christopher John Rogers, Collina Strada, Matty Bovan, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, and many other designers. Attendees, both in person and virtually, will also have the opportunity to purchase limited-edition pieces. In addition to the runway show, there will be a street fair experience consisting of newsstands curated by Vogue and limited-edition items created in collaboration with leading brands. There will also be a selection of runway looks available for purchase from partners such as Moda Operandi, Mytheresa, NET-A-PORTER, Nordstrom, and Ssense. A cinematic livestream is planned on Vogue.com, the Vogue Runway app, and Twitter. The real star, finally, is augmented reality in collaboration with Snapchat: customized AR lenses will allow viewers to “try on” looks from the runway show anywhere.
