DALLAS, Mar 24, 2010 / FW/ — As I am starting to finally clear my Inbox, I am finding some gems that I accidentally overlooked due to the frenzy of fashion week.

Case in point, on March 10th, while Paris Prêt-a-porter was in full swing, the beautiful Jessica Biel attened the premiere screening of “Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro”in New York City wearing a bright tulip floral blouson dress from the Thakoon Spring / Summer 2010 collection.

Jumping on a dozen days, supermodel turned entrepreneur Cindy Crawford attended the DIFFA’s Dining By Design New York 2010 on Mar 22nd wearing a Roberto Cavalli diamond star stamped silk mini dress with Swarovski Crystal beaded detail from the Resort 2010 collection.

Meanwhile on the same day, in Los Angeles, Kristen Bell attended the “Geffen Playhouse’s” Annual Fundraiser in a lilac silk organza Alberta Ferretti apron dress from the Spring 2010 runway collection.

Now, let’s jump back to the East Coast and head straight to Washington D.C. to find Academy Award winning actress and Avon Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon at the Award for International Women of Courage ceremony at the State Department.

Ms. Witherspoon wore a black cashmere flannel sequin yolk sheath from the Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2010 collection during the event. Later, during the Vital Voices 2010 Global Leadership Awards, Reese chose a Jason Wu Resort 2010 cobalt strapless silk faille peplum knot dress for the evening.

Moving up north, another Oscar-winning actress, Julianne Moore was spotted walking in New York City’s Little Italy wearing a No. 6 Buckle Clog boot by Morgan Yakus and Karin Bereson.

Virtually unknown until 2005 when Yakus and Bereson opened the No.6 Store in Little Italy, the No.6 clog boot was born out of a necessity to provide a stylish and practical boot for themselves and their customers.

Appreciated for its warmth, comfort and good looks, it is an all in one boot, the No. 6 is loved by many celebrities and models to the point that quickly became a staple item.

The boots are available in a variety of colors, materials and heights. All bases use natural wood and since they are handmade, can accommodate special fit needs. www.no6store.com

And since we are on a roll with Academy-Award-winning actresses, it’s also good to mention the current Best Actress winner, Sandra Bullock who won Oscar gold for her performance in “The Blind Side.” Sandra wore Alternative Apparel to the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Bullock was wearing the SilverLake Heather Burnout Tank in Dirty Grey ($35.00) and is available for purchase at www.Alternativeapparel.com

And among all these travelling, it is not surprising that we ran into American Idol winner Kris Allen at the Los Angeles International Airport carrying his guitars and the Victorinox Mobilizer NXT Hardside Trunk that he received as the gift bag at this year’s Grammy awards.
