|PARIS, Jan 21, 2003 (Updated Jul 9, 2009) / FW/ — “We love to distort fashion and glam”, the three-member design team of On Aura Tout Vu confessed in their website.
Paris-based On Aura Tout Vu broke into the French fashion scene with a tongue-in-cheek attitude that proved to be effective in the lofty and very formal world of haute couture.
Founded in 1998 by Andre de sa Pessoa, Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov, On Aura Tout Vu is one of the four accessories members of the Chambre Syndicale de la haute couture.
Originally from Portugal, Andre de sa Pessoa student fine arts in Lisbon, earning his degree in 1989, then moved to New York to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology before returning to Europe to work as a jeweler and crystal designer in Portugal and then in France.
A native of Bulgaria, Livia Stoianova also studied Fine Arts specializing in graphic arts, this time graduating in 1992 and earning her degree in Sophia. Before joining On Aura Tout Vu, Livia had presented her art work in French galleries.
Also a native of Bulgaria, Yassen Samouilov graduated in 1991 from the Applied Arts School of Sofia specializing in Textile Design and Toy Design. He then moved to France and studied Fine Arts in Versailles, earning his degree in 1994. Before joining On Aura Tout Vu, Yassen worked in a trend consulting firm and developed accessories and ready-to-wear collections.
