Custo Barcelona Designs Limited-Edition T-Shirt for Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

DALLAS, Sep 1, 2008 / FW/ — Going back to the brand’s roots of designing iconoclastic t-shirts, Custo Dalmau is showing his support to breast cancer awareness program with a limited edition Custo Barcelona shirt featuring the distinctive pink ribbon.

“We think it’s important for people to support cancer research the best way they can,” states Custo Dalmau, “and for us it’s through what we know best, designing a limited edition item and donating the proceeds to charity.”

With only 1,000 pieces that will be produced, the T-shirts become collectible items the moment they hit the store shelves. Retailing at $65.00, 100% of the proceeds from the sales of the 2008 Limited Edition T-Shirt will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Model/actress Cindy Taylor generously donated her time to support the cause, and is featured in the promotional campaign photo wearing the T-shirt.

The T-shirt will be available from October 1 – 31, 2008 (or until supplies last) in selected Custo Barcelona locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

So far, the following cities are on the list: New York, Chicago, Bal Harbour, Boca Raton, Sunrise, Tampa, Dallas, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Glendale, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
