DALLAS, Oct 9, 2008 / FW/ — Design duo Anne Jones (Womenswear Design) and Michelle Clarke (Textile Design) collaborated for their graduation collection.
Taking inspiration from Ephemeral Defraction immerged from the installation artist Olafur Elliason’s exhibit Take Your Time; Anne Jones used the strong play of light and geometry in Elliason’s work for design details. Also, the idea of nature versus artificiality was an influence on the silhouette and the use of Mylar.
For Anne Jones to achieve this, Michelle Clarke printed with disperse dyes on Bristol and heat transferred the design onto Mylar plastic with multiple results of ink flowing through water to look liked stained glass.
Anne Jones was born and raised in Yuma, AZ. Michelle Clarke was born and raised in El Paso, TX. This fall, Michelle will be interning with Diane von Furstenberg and in January 2009 will begin working at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Hi,
I love your fashions, but I bought a pair of navy sweat pants at the Navy exchange with the Navy seal on them in california, and when I wash them they faded and have stains on them. I had not even worn them. I am affard to buy any more of them and I paid very good money for them. Do you know what happen?
