NEW YORK, Nov 6, 2008 / FW/ — Kenneth Cole either has you rubber necking or your nose in a book this month. The New York-based designer congratulated President-elect Barack Obama via a billboard then launches a new book, Awearness: Inspiring Stories about How to Make a Difference later this month.
The billboard, which says, “A PRECEDENT WE CAN BE PROUD OF. — KENNETH COLE, CONGRATULATIONS BARACK OBAMA” can be seen on the LIE and the West Side Highway in New York City.
If you’re wondering what would the billboard say if it was Senator John McCain who won the election, a similar one was printed saying, “ OUT WITH THE OLD… IN WITH THE OLDER. — KENNETH COLE, CONGRATULATIONS JOHN MCCAIN”
