New Versace Store in Rome

MILAN, Nov 14, 2008 / FW/ —  Versace has opened its fourth store in Rome.  Now along with Via Bocca di Leone, Via Veneto will  also be home to Versace.  The new store is one level of over 200 square meters.
The store will be the first retail space in Italy, to follow Versace’s new architectual concept.  Designed by an in-house team of architects and interior designers, the store captures the essence of Versace and tops it off with white leather, black marble and crystal.
While Via Veneto is a world famous street, Versace proves to be ahead of the game by opening the first luxury retail space on the street.
“Via Veneto is the ideal location for our new boutique, given the many ways the street epitomises Italian glamour: the cinema, the celebrities, a world Versace understands so well. Via Veneto has also become a street synonymous with luxury and our Maison is the first to open a store there. We are confident that the location is a perfect expression of our current development strategy.”
