NEW YORK, Dec 10, 2009 / FW/ — Last night at the Bowery Ballroom, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson, Ed Westwick, Kevin Bacon, Robert Buckley, and Charlotte Ronson among others donned Ray-Ban sunglasses to celebrate the re-launched of the Clubmaster.
A legendary shaded inspired by the iconic 1950s and 1960s lifestyle, Ray-Ban is reintroducing this classic look with a blowout music event where some of the hottest indie artists reinterpreted their favorite groundbreaking 1950s and 1960s songs.
Special Performances by Black Kids, Paul Sevigny, Ipso-Facto, and White Williams marked this special night. The Remaster Clubmaster movement will then continue with unique events in Beijing and Milan.
Officially introduced by Ray-Ban in 1986, the Clubmaster redefined retro with its simple and straightforward design, instantly making itself the official sponsor of culture.
