DALLAS, Mar 23, 2009 / FW/ — Following the recent openings of Brioni boutiques New Delhi, Dubai, Macao and Cannes, the Roman fashion house inaugurates its flagship store in Zagreb, the capital and the largest urban center of Croatia.
Offering both men and women’s prêt-à-porter collections, customers of the Brioni boutique in Zagreb also avail themselves the very best tailoring service for highly sophisticated consumers in the metropolis of 1.2 million.
“The first time Brioni was in Zagreb was in 1971 for a fashion show,” recalls Andrea Perrone, co-CEO of Brioni, at the press conference, “and it proved how much the company has always been a pioneer in the world of fashion.”
“At the moment growth in this part of Europe is a very interesting prospect for Brioni. Furthermore, our name is profoundly linked to this part of the world: the Brioni islands were one of the most exclusive resorts in the first half of the twentieth century and the reason behind calling ourselves Brioni, a magical inspiration for such an exclusive brand,” Perrone added.
Founded in 1945 in Rome, Brioni immediately developed strong international appeal. Today, Brioni owns 57 boutiques worldwide with store openings in Istanbul, Beirut, Dubai, Shanghai, St. Petersburg and Lugano for the rest of 2009.
