Corrine Cobson Fall 2009
Corrine Cobson Fall 2009

PARIS, Mar 5, 2009 / FW/ — Using a small venue in the 10th arrondisement, Corinne Cobson demonstrated a new direction for a familiar style.  This season Corinne successfully balanced a juxtaposition between high fashion and alternative street style with the use of Dock Martins in her collection.

The color palette remained dark yet sophisticated showing us mostly black with accents of red, blue and gold.  Down the stairs came a number of pieces we thought were strong including a evening dress with blue accented top, mesh corset and a short skirt trimmed with long black feathers.

Other pieces in the collection included black and white striped tops and pants, a long black coat with fur collar and one ensemble of pink pants and red sequin top that didn’t seem to belong.

Overall we enjoyed Corinnes work this season and her creative use of bows or bow-tie shaped accents in her collection.
