PARIS, Mar 9, 2009 / FW/ — If Guitar Hero will ever be a futuristic movie with an all-girls band in the lead role, then the costume designer need to look no further on who to collaborate with – Sophia Kokosalaki.
Sending black tulle mini dresses that were ruche and then draped diagonally or crisscross, the Greek-born designer sheathed it over geometrically shaped skirts, thus making the rock & roll heroine a tough chick. The black leather and chain mail added to the tough chick allure.
To soften things up and thus create balance, Kokosalaki ruche jersey dresses then molded them to the model’s body thus preserving the rock & roll attitude but adding a very feminine aura.
